Few bands of the 90s have a sound as distinctive and refreshing as Arrested Development. Their alternative hip-hop sound offered a unique, brighter perspective to the darker gangsta rap of the early 90s. Their debut album, 3 Years, 5 Months, and 2 Days in the Life of… was both a critical and commercial hit which spun off several singles, including “People Everday,” “Tennessee,” and “Revolution.”

One of their most memorable tracks, “Mr. Wendel,” was the third single off the album which reached number 6 on the U.S. Billboard 100 chart. If you didn’t have the whole album (you should’ve) but did manage to snag a cassingle (or CD single–both were available), then you may recall hearing this tune (also on the full-length album) on the B-side…
