Imagine, if you will, growing up in a town of less than 200 people which spanned three blocks by four blocks, surrounded by cornfields. That was my childhood. Trying to picture that?
Ok, it wasn’t that bad. But you can bet that when I turned 18, I packed up my boombox (with the nifty sliding CD tray!) and headed for the big city. (A slightly larger town with one spot that catered to club-kid types…) I learned a lot about dance music, drank too much, and purchased way too many CD maxi singles, but I always had a great time. Here’s a blast of glorious bass-thumping air, in the form of some of my favorite 90s club songs. I hope you enjoy this mixtape I made for you. xoxo
